Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality.
• College degree in hospitality or business administration preferred.
• In-market experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of GDS systems and relationships with Key TMC offices is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to generate repeat transient business.
• Focus on selling rooms and suites and meet targeted revenue goals.
• Conduct sales visits and maintain relations with corporate travel managers and high-end agents.
• Prepare proposals and contracts promptly.
• Maintain hotel relationships to increase satisfaction and revenue.
• Present persuasive sales pitches to prospective clients.
• Travel locally for outside calls to promote the hotel and review competition.
• Collaborate with revenue manager to secure favorable rates.
• Generate new promotions, partnerships, and alliances to build revenue.
• Follow HHM EarthView sustainability guidelines and safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
