Job summary

WEG is seeking a Warranty Coordinator to handle customer-reported issues, both warranty and non-warranty, across our transformer product lines. You will receive requests via phone, email, or fax, and coordinate with plants in the US and Mexico to resolve issues promptly.

The role emphasizes log-keeping, data analysis on transformer problems, and coordinating repairs with contractors and manufacturing to ensure post-sale satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering technology or 5+ years of transformer experience.
• Thorough knowledge of transformers.
• Current work authorization in the United States.
• Reasonable commuting distance to enable travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Address customer-reported issues with our products, both warranty and non-warranty.
• Receive and manage customer requests/concerns via phone, email, or fax.
• Communicate daily with customers to resolve issues and ensure post-sale satisfaction.
• Coordinate warranty concerns from plants in the US and Mexico.
• Log and track customer complaints in a database until resolution.
• Document and analyze transformer issues to determine causes and solutions.
• Communicate with contractors about transformer issues, analyze quotations, and schedule repairs.
• Write purchase requests/orders and coordinate repair schedules with manufacturing.
