Job summary

WEG Transformers USA (WTU) operates as part of WEG’s Transmission and Distribution business. The Washington, Missouri campus includes Distribution, Power, and Specialty Transformer manufacturing operations.

The Project Leader will manage customer relations at order time and coordinate with production, engineering, and scheduling to protect lead times and ensure contract fulfillment. The role requires strong communication, project management experience, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Residence within reasonable commuting distance to Washington, MO; reliable transportation.
• Hold current US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Take customer contact at order time and ensure contract fulfillment.
• Coordinate with Production Scheduling to safeguard lead times.
• Handle inquiries with Engineering on technical issues.
• Ensure contract inspection and design review requirements.
• Maintain complete order files with all correspondence.
• Submit final documents required by contract.
• Conclude any change order or penalties discussions.
• Ensure all payments are collected.
• Coordinate and support customer visits and plant tours.
