Job summary

WEG Transformers USA is seeking a Warranty Coordinator to manage warranty and post-sale issues. You will log, track, and analyze transformer problems while coordinating with plants in the US and Mexico, contractors, and manufacturing to schedule repairs.

The role emphasizes strong communication, documentation, and attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient warranty processing.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering technology or 5+ years of experience in transformers.
• Thorough knowledge of transformers.
• Current work authorization for employment in the United States.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
• Reasonable commuting distance to a major airport for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Address customer-reported issues with products, warranty and non-warranty.
• Receive and manage customer requests via phone, email, or fax.
• Communicate daily with customers to resolve issues and ensure post-sale satisfaction.
• Coordinate warranty concerns from plants in the US and Mexico.
• Log and track customer complaints in a database until resolution.
• Document and analyze transformer issues to determine causes and solutions.
• Coordinate repairs with contractors and manufacturing schedules.
• Write purchase requests/orders and coordinate repair scheduling.

Education

Two-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering technology

Four-year college degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
