Eaton Corporation is hiring a General Welder for the 1st shift in Wisconsin. The role involves welding on transformer components using plasma arc, TIG, MIG, and robotic welders, with duties across assembly lines and presses.

The job includes reading prints, operating cranes, and performing pressure tests on welded units. Competencies include knowledge of stainless and mild steel welding, ability to lift, and willingness to work overtime or on off shifts.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of assembly experience.
• Minimum 1 year welding in a manufacturing environment or completion of a 1-year welding diploma.
• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Relocation benefits not included; within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate welding equipment in Transformer assembly lines for general production.
• Weld on stainless and mild steel covers and radiators; use robotic welder.
• Read basic prints and instructions to complete tasks when prints are unavailable.
• Handle material with cranes and hand trucks as required.
• Place weld-on and bolt-on covers and conduct a pressure test.
• Support Transformer assembly positions as needed.
