Job summary

D&H Industries in Wisconsin is seeking a Welder to perform MIG/Robotic and Resistance welding to engineered specifications. This is a 1st shift position, 5 a.m.

to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts and potential schedule changes based on business needs. You will read blueprints, set up components for welding, operate MIG/Robotic and Spot/Resistance welders, and produce complex welded assemblies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of relevant manufacturing/welding experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills; able to read measurements in metric and standard.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/drawings and job routing to plan layout and procedures.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Weld components/parts using MIG/Robotic Welders and Spot/Resistance Welders.
• Produce complex welded assemblies to close tolerances to ensure quality.
• Inspect weldments for defects and ensure quality, including examining weld length and size.
• May be assigned to work in other areas of the production floor to meet deadlines.
