Job summary

States Manufacturing Corporation seeks a Quality Auditor to ensure transformers and related manufacturing processes meet internal quality standards, customer specifications, and IEC/IEEE/ANSI/ISO guidelines.

The role conducts product, process, and system audits across the lifecycle, from raw materials to final testing and shipment, driving regulatory compliance and continuous improvement on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and thorough documentation required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience performing audits in manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with oil-filled transformer construction and testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final audits on transformers and related manufacturing stages.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specs.
• Review test reports and ensure traceability of materials and components.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality system records and CAPA tracking.
• Support supplier and internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safety and environmental procedures are followed during audits.
