Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Machine Operator (Winder) at our Oakleys Ct site in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities include winding coils or transformer sub-assemblies according to wiring diagrams, using coil-winding machines and welding/brazing equipment.

Qualified candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year of machine operation experience, forklifts certification preferred, and willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Richmond, VA only.

Responsibilities

• Wind standard coils or transformers per wiring diagrams and work orders.
• Inspect product quality and conformance to standards.
• Maintain productivity standards and safe working practices.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints; keep work areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety, attendance, and export control requirements.
