Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Coil Winder Machine Operator Apprentice for 2nd shift in Wisconsin. The role involves setting up and operating winding machines to produce coils per specifications, with training including welding and brazing at the listed facility and use of HoloLens.

The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a $24.45 base hourly rate plus a $2.50 shift premium. Hours are 3pm–11pm with mandatory overtime possible.

Qualifications

• 6 months of manufacturing, military, or related experience or education.
• Must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.
• No sponsorship or visa support offered.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret winding specification documents.
• Load materials and adjust winding machines to spec.
• Measure, align, and verify components for each coil.
• Assemble and crimp leads, insulate and tape-weld as needed.
• Complete two-week welding and brazing training at the referenced facility.
• Support batch production and ensure quality conformance.
