Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Machine Operator (Winder) at our Oakleys Ct site in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities include winding coils or transformer sub-assemblies according to wiring diagrams, using coil-winding machines and welding/brazing equipment.
Qualified candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year of machine operation experience, forklifts certification preferred, and willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts.
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Machine Operator (Winder) - HIRING EVENT at our Oakleys Ct site in Richmond, VA.
The hourly rate for this position is $23.80 per hour.
This site is currently offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
The specific shift, work schedule, and any applicable shift differential will be confirmed when an offer of employment is extended.
Candidates should indicate all shifts they are willing and able to work during the interview process.
This position will be responsible for winding coils or hot working transformer assemblies used in electrical equipment and instruments or as electronic components, according to wiring diagrams, sample coil, transformer, or work order, using coil-winding machines and welding and brazing equipment: Reviews wiring diagrams and work order or examines sample to ascertain type and size of wire specified, and type, size, length, circumference, and primary and secondary windings of coil to be wound or accurately builds transformer sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications.
