Qualifications

• Hold the credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc.
• Certification as a CADC or similar required.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation methods related to mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive counseling services and assessments.
• Develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and documentation.
• Lead group sessions and individual therapy.

Skills

Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to establish rapport with client populations

Familiarity with caseload management

Knowledge of the problems encountered by individuals with disorders

Education

Certification as a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC) or equivalent

Qualified Addiction Professional credentials
