Preferred Family Healthcare in Trenton, MO is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide intake, screening, assessment, and individualized treatment planning within a residential program.

You will lead counseling sessions, document care, collaborate with the treatment team, and support clients through transitions while pursuing ongoing training and professional growth in line with state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Qualified Addiction Professional per Missouri Credentialing Board requirements.
• CADC/CRADC/CRAADC/RADC/CCJP certifications or Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor credentials.
• Co-Occurring credential preferred; knowledge of state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Guide intake, screening, and assessment processes per state guidelines.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and guide clients toward goals.
• Lead treatment team discussions and document services accurately.
• Coordinate transitions and maintain client records with integrity.
• Engage in ongoing trainings and community outreach as needed.
