Merck & Co. in Durham, NC is seeking a Transformation and Business Support Lead to drive a portfolio of strategic projects tied to facility transformation milestones and oversee general business support activities.

You will lead a team of project managers and cross‑functional experts, coordinating Quality, Operations, Technology Operations, Maintenance and Digital Manufacturing to deliver integrated execution plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Technical Operations, Quality Operations, or Site Engineering Services with supervisory responsibility.
• Proven track record in pharma/biotech facility engineering/process changes controls & projects.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Director, Operations, manage project assignments independently.
• Lead a team of engineers and scientists supporting change controls and strategic initiatives.
• Unite Quality, Operations, Technology Operations, Maintenance, Digital Manufacturing and other functions behind an integrated execution plan.
• Provide end-to-end technical support throughout the project lifecycle including quality risk management, SOPs and master batch records.
