Job summary

Camaco LLC is seeking an operator to set up and run transfer presses, including dies, to produce high-quality parts in a manufacturing environment. The role requires reading blueprints, using micrometers and calipers, and maintaining tooling with attention to safety and precision.

You will load coils and blanks, monitor production data, assist with repairs, and train new operators while working as part of a team in a standard manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineer drawings to shape metal accurately.
• Follows established procedures with strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to operate cranes and forklifts and perform basic tooling maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate transfer presses and set dies as needed.
• Measure shut height and adjust ram; verify parts with gauges and calipers.
• Load/unload coils and blanks; maintain set-up sheets and production data.
• Perform minor repairs and assist Tool & Die personnel as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Train new operators and participate in continuous improvement.
