Job summary

Camaco LLC on the plant floor is seeking a Die Setter/Press Operator to set up dies on single hit and progressive presses and support production through tool and die adjustments.

The ideal candidate will have die setting experience, basic math, blueprint reading, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift operation and cooperation with quality and maintenance teams are required.

Qualifications

• Die setting experience required.
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure with precision.
• Forklift operation capability preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Self-motivated, team player with positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate Single Hit and Progressive Hit Presses on production floor.
• Set up specified dies, verify shut height and ram height.
• Clamp dies, maintain setup sheets, and secure quality approval.
• Record inventory data for parts and scrap.
• Monitor equipment wear and report for PM.
• Assist in minor tool & die repairs and maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout-tagout.
