Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Transfer Line in the Call Center, a fast-paced, system-wide clinical coordination role supporting patient transfers. Ideal candidates have strong critical-care backgrounds, quick decision-making, and excellent communication in a high-call-volume environment.

The position is full-time with a hybrid option after orientation, rotating D/E/N shifts to cover 24/7 operations from the Riedman Campus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data
• Communicates and documents assessment of patient with the interdisciplinary team
• Develops and documents plan of care, treatment and services
• Complies with organizational policies, procedures and protocols
• Revises plan of care based on ongoing evaluations and updates documentation
• Completes at least one CRU form for Nursing Research Department

Education

AS: Nursing (Required)

Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
