Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Transfer Center & Virtual Care RN to lead patient flow, coordinate transfers, and support telehealth services within the RTOC. The role collaborates with nursing leadership, clinical staff, and physicians to ensure safe, timely, and cost-efficient care from admission through discharge.

The RN will balance direct patient care with system-wide coordination in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing communication, safety, and quality outcomes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Active State of Nevada RN license is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum three years RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Ability to obtain Acute-Care Virtual Nurse Certification within three years of hire.
• English proficiency (reading/writing/speaking).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing patient transfers and communicate with care teams and physicians.
• Provide telehealth services as Virtual Care RN.
• Deliver direct patient care as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage patient flow and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
