Liberty University seeks a Transfer Evaluator to independently administer a comprehensive transcript evaluation system for domestic and international students, aligning with Enrollment Management to achieve transfer enrollment goals. Working independently and exercising good judgment and discretionthe position of Transfer Evaluator is responsible for administeringa comprehensive system of transcript evaluations for domestic andinternational students and works in conjunction with EnrollmentManagement to help the institution reach transfer enrollmentgoals.
Evaluate unofficial and official domestic and internationaltransfer coursework for equivalencies to Liberty University and award applicable transfer credit. Must be familiar with theacademics and accreditation of domestic and internationalinstitutions. Maintains 24 turnaround times and adjusts accordinglyfor other departmental needs based on current workload. Helps todevelop and maintain articulation databases for transfer courseworkfrom other institutions. Works with EnrollmentManagement toprovide preliminary transcript evaluations for students, asrequested. Acquire in-depth training in domestic and internationaltranscript evaluation. Able to meet and communicate with transferprospects, applicants, current students, and parents to answerquestions regarding transfer equivalencies. Is fully trained indegree completion plan options and must be able to interpret corerequirements for each major with transfer prospects and applicants.Serves at various on-campus events for prospective studentsthroughout the year and advises the student on transferringcoursework. Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies,and processes as they relate to transferring coursework. Workseffectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.Occasionally required to assist with events outside of normalbusiness hours, including but not limited to Commencementexercises.
A bachelor's degree, or significant work towards a bachelor’sdegree, and a minimum of one year of Registrar or other relevantexperience is required. Strong computer skills are required.Well-developed communication skills. Must be fully proficient inall academic processes and regulations as they apply tostudents.
The working environment in which one will typically perform theessential functions of this position is a climate-controlled officesetting. It is well lit, and the noise level is moderate.
If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties andresponsibilities of the position, the use of one’s personal vehicle(or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a validdriver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval,and liability insurance is required when driving in the performanceof the employee’s position.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as qualifications,experience, education, skills, and certifications, along withUniversity needs and external market conditions. Market benchmarksmay be used, as appropriate, in combination with internal equity toensure pay is fair and aligned with the broader compensationstructure.
