Job summary

The University of South Carolina in Columbia is seeking a Student Services Program Coordinator to support enrollment and records activities within the Office of the Registrar. This full-time position handles SERF coordination, transfer credit processing, and exam credit posting.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree and have familiarity with transfer evaluation and Banner SIS; the role offers a state pay range with growth potential and a 12-month basis.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field with no prior work experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
• Experience with transfer evaluation and Banner SIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Special Enrollment Request Form (SERF) coordination – coordinates equivalency approval for SERF daily.
• Examination credit coordination – coordinates receipt and posting of exam credit (IB, CLEP, DANTES/DSST).
• Transfer credit equivalency processing – maintains Course Equivalency Table; sends courses for evaluation through TES; updates Banner with course data.
• Other duties as assigned – assists with Commencement and other duties.
• Transfer credit processing – processes incoming transfer credit including Graduate School requests and Palmetto College/direct undergrad transfers via Slate.
