Job summary

HCA HealthOne is seeking a Transfer Center RN Coordinator in Denver for a full-time, mid shift (2PM–2AM) role. You will coordinate patient transfers across HCA facilities, manage bed placements, and work with referring facilities to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

The role requires a registered nurse with at least 3 years in acute care, and multi-state licensure as needed. Shift flexibility, strong communication, and problem-solving are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ related clinical experience in an acute care setting (ED or Critical Care preferred).
• RN License in states where the facility operates – multi-state license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all transfer center functions with centralized patient placement in a timely, professional manner.
• Coordinates transfer of emergent, urgent and elective patients to final destination facilities from all referral sources.
• Facilitates patient throughput with focus on quality and efficiency; follows up with all participants of the transfer.
• Demonstrates teamwork and effective communication with physicians, nurses and hospital staff.
• Ensures accurate data collection and maintenance in patient records and center workflow systems.
