Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Transfer Agent Governance & Oversight Specialist to monitor and govern operational workflows across the Mutual Fund Direct client portfolio. You will oversee a third-party transfer agent provider to ensure servicing, transactions, reconciliations, and regulatory requirements are met on time.

The role emphasizes SLA adherence, net settlement controls, omnibus reconciliations, and resolution of issues with internal teams and external partners, shaping a new oversight

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in transfer agency operations, fund accounting, third-party vendor governance, or middle-office operations.
• Deep understanding of mutual fund operations, transfer agency recordkeeping, net settlement, omnibus reconciliations, and tax/regulatory processing rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third-party provider's day-to-day Transfer Agent servicing activities across client accounts.
• Monitor service delivery to meet processing, statements, confirmations, client inquiries, correspondence, web platform support, and tax reporting deadlines.
• Lead high-volume operational controls, including net settlement and omnibus reconciliations.
• Identify recurring service defects or process gaps and implement root-cause fixes with external partners.
