Job summary

PIMCO seeks an experienced leader to serve as Head of Transfer Agent Oversight – Americas. This role governs PIMCO's transfer agent oversight model across U.S.

and Canada registered funds, ETFs, and other pooled products. You will partner with fund administration, product strategy, compliance, risk management, and technology to strengthen controls, improve service quality, and lead strategic initiatives including AI-enabled tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Deep knowledge of transfer agency operations and fund structures.
• 10+ years in asset management or fund operations.
• Experience with vendor governance and oversight.
• Ability to manage operational risk and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer agent oversight team across the Americas.
• Establish priorities and allocate resources across internal teams and providers.
• Maintain relationships with executives at transfer agents and service providers.
• Lead vendor reviews and report performance to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and fund policies.
• Oversee due diligence across operational, financial, and cybersecurity areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to strengthen controls.
• Drive process improvements and technology-enabled change.
• Promote data quality and reporting capabilities.
• Stay ahead of industry best practices and emerging risks.
