Job summary

Elizabeth City State University seeks a Transfer Counselor to assist the Director of Transfer Services in recruiting, admitting, and enrolling transfer undergrad and grad students, including student athletes.

You will counsel prospective students and families about programs, guide them through enrollment, and serve as the expert for transfer admissions and credit articulation to support enrollment goals with excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Must be able to travel overnight and work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and families about programs available at Elizabeth City State University.
• Assist Director of Transfer Services in recruiting, admitting, and enrolling transfer students and student athletes.
• Independently admit and enroll students and guide them through the enrollment process.
• Serve as the university’s subject matter expert for transfer admissions and transfer credit articulation.
