Job summary

Cal State East Bay is seeking a dedicated Admissions Counselor to process and evaluate freshman, transfer, and graduate applications. You will focus on domestic U.S.

residents, coordinate eligibility determinations, and communicate admission requirements to diverse audiences. Under supervision of senior staff, you will advise applicants on policies, guide them through the process, and collaborate with campus offices to recruit and enroll students.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in student services or related field.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Strong ability to interpret policies and apply CSU rules.

Responsibilities

• Process transfer applications and determine eligibility for admission.
• Evaluate applications for completion of transfer credits and GPA requirements.
• Advise prospective students on admission requirements and procedures.
