Job Description
Responsible for actively monitoring the processing queues, independently performing daily transactions within a team atmosphere and ensuring these transactions are processed in compliance with IRS & ERISA guidelines as well as the applicable plan document provisions.
Responsibilities
Required Experience:
- Process Tier II transactions, which includes Tier I transactions as needed
- Mentor Level I TCs, assisting with training as needed
- Serve as PPAs for preferred providers, keeping procedures updated for these providers ensuring both internal efficiency and high quality service for our clients
- Maintain high standard of quality work and production goals, both individually and as a team
- Communicates effectively with Plan Sponsors, Plan Advisors, Plan Providers, and Internal Office Staff
- Keeps current on procedures, laws, and other facets that may impact processing
- Participation in key projects as assigned
- Outstanding TRA Corporate Citizen dedicated to maintaining TRAs reputation at all times in the communities we touch
- Perform other job related duties or special projects as required
Qualifications
- One year of related experience, higher education, or any equivalent combination of experience and knowledge
- Customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft office programs and basic math skills
- Must be engaged and able to work with people at all knowledge levels
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills, with the ability to track multiple tasks and issues, set goals and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
