Job summary

Blu Omega Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver learning solutions for large-scale tech modernization in a federal health environment. This remote role focuses on adoption, change management, and accessibility compliance to meet 508 standards.

Develop curricula across modalities, partner with SMEs, and drive training effectiveness from design through sustainment while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring readiness for rollout.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience developing, managing, and delivering training programs or organizational learning initiatives.
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale training programs across multiple modalities.
  • Experience developing and delivering training for technical or data science-related content.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with technical subject matter experts and program teams.
  • Experience leading and mentoring training teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with learning content development tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Excellent instructional design, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.

  • Evaluate technology and process changes to support training readiness, rollout, and sustainment.
  • Ensure training materials comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and learning events.
  • Develop and maintain training materials using tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Captivate, and similar platforms.
  • Establish methods to evaluate training effectiveness and adoption outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate with team members to ensure consistent learning standards.
  • Engage with client and executive stakeholders to communicate training strategies, progress, and risks.

Blu Omega is seeking a Training Specialist to support large-scale training, adoption, and organizational change initiatives within a mission-driven federal health environment. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for designing and delivering learning solutions that facilitate stakeholder adoption of new technologies, processes, and workflows. The position requires experience supporting organizational learning initiatives in a federal program setting.

Compensation

Salary Range: $0.00 - $90,000.00
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
