Job summary

Blu Omega is seeking a Scrum Master to support the BAH/DMAC Program in a federal healthcare project environment. This role facilitates Agile development practices within the program and coordinates Scrum ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of increments.

The position is remote with a preference for candidates in Atlanta, GA or the Washington, DC / Maryland / Virginia area. Public Trust eligibility and U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile teams.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and release planning.
• Knowledge of COTS software development and delivery processes.
• U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and CSM certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Coach and support development teams in applying Scrum and Agile practices to meet sprint goals and PI Objectives.
• Track team progress, identify and remove impediments, and address risks to delivery.
• Utilize JIRA to manage sprints, backlogs, and monitor progress.
• Drive process improvements by analyzing team performance and strengthening Agile practices.

Blu Omega is seeking a Scrum Master to support the BAH/DMAC Program. This role is responsible for facilitating Agile development practices within a federal healthcare project environment.

Program Overview

Supporting critical public health information technology modernization efforts through Agile methodologies.

Location: Remote (preferably Atlanta, GA or the Washington, DC / Maryland / Virginia area)
Clearance / Suitability: Public Trust eligibility required

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and road mapping sessions.
• Coach and support development teams in applying Scrum and Agile practices to meet sprint goals and Program Increment Objectives.
• Track team progress, identify and remove impediments, and address risks impacting delivery.
• Utilize Agile tools such as JIRA to manage sprints, backlogs, and monitor progress.
• Drive process improvements by analyzing team performance and strengthening Agile practices.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile teams.
• Experience with Agile project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and release planning.
• Knowledge of COTS software development and delivery processes.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $70,000 - $118,000
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
