Job summary

Blu Omega LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale cloud applications and integration services. You will work on Azure-based solutions enabling secure data exchange across complex enterprise environments, modernizing legacy apps, and building API-driven integrations.

Responsibilities include CI/CD, DevOps, cloud migrations, and AI-assisted development capabilities, with a focus on EDI, HL7, FHIR, and XML standards. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps or comparable cloud integration technologies.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud development experience.
  • Experience developing B2B integrations using EDI, HL7, FHIR, XML.
  • Experience with cloud migration or modernization projects.
  • Strong SQL experience and data modeling.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar analytics platforms.

Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & B2B Systems Integration

Blu Omega is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale cloud applications and integration services supporting mission-critical systems.

In this role, you will develop Azure-based applications and integration solutions that enable secure, scalable data exchange across complex enterprise environments. You will work with architects, analysts, developers, and stakeholders to modernize legacy applications, build API-driven integrations, and implement B2B data exchange solutions using technologies and standards such as Azure Logic Apps, EDI, HL7, FHIR, and XML. You will also support cloud modernization efforts through DevOps automation, CI/CD, advanced APIs, and emerging AI-assisted development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise cloud applications and integration services using Microsoft Azure and modern integration patterns.
  • Develop B2B integrations leveraging EDI, HL7, FHIR, XML, and other structured data exchange standards.
  • Build and maintain API-driven applications, enterprise messaging pipelines, and cloud-native integration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing workflows, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Modernize legacy applications through cloud migration, refactoring, and hybrid or cloud-native architectures.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define integration patterns, technical approaches, and cloud modernization strategies.
  • Develop and support relational database solutions, data models, and SQL-based application components.
  • Support analytics and reporting capabilities using Power BI or comparable platforms.
  • Integrate emerging capabilities such as AI-assisted tooling, advanced APIs, and automation services into cloud applications and integration workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize cloud applications and integrations to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps or comparable cloud integration technologies.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud development experience.
  • Experience developing B2B integrations using EDI, HL7, FHIR, XML, or related structured data exchange standards.
  • Experience designing, developing, or supporting cloud-based applications and enterprise integration pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud migration, application modernization, or legacy system refactoring.
  • Strong SQL experience, including relational database development and data modeling.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar analytics and reporting platforms.
  • Experience working within modern software development and DevOps environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, architects, business stakeholders, and client leadership.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with TIBCO, MuleSoft, or similar enterprise integration platforms.
  • Experience with SAP HANA.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with Node.js, Angular, or React.
  • Experience developing AI-assisted or AI-enhanced application capabilities.
  • Experience with identity and authentication technologies such as SSO, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
  • Knowledge of advanced networking concepts, including DNS, routing, and subnetting.

Compensation
Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
