UMass Memorial Health is seeking a training and education specialist in the Patient Access Center to design and deliver training programs, support performance improvements, and ensure quality assurance across revenue cycle systems. This role partners with supervisors to enhance the patient experience and align with our standards.

Formación

• Associate’s degree (required).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Two years of related experience in health care billing, reimbursement, managed care or scheduling, registration financial clearance, financial counseling.
• Experience with revenue cycle systems, third party contracts, payment policies, claim processes or scheduling/registration systems, financial clearance or financial counseling processes.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train others in the use of revenue cycle systems.
• Knowledge of billing, reimbursement and charges.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and delivers training referencing performance improvement initiatives.
• Participates in system upgrades and application enhancement planning.
• Develops and demonstrates super user application expertise.
• Provides training on application navigation during onboarding for new staff or new roles.
• Performs competency testing and uses assessment tools to identify learning needs.
