Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required for consideration.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of related experience in healthcare billing, reimbursement, scheduling, or financial clearance.
• Experience with revenue cycle systems and third party contracts; payment policies/claims processes.
• Ability to train others in the use of revenue cycle systems.
• Knowledge of billing, reimbursement and charges.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers training and education referencing performance improvement initiatives.
• Participates in system upgrades and application enhancement planning to develop or revise training curriculum.
• Develops and demonstrates super user application expertise.
• Provides training and education related to application navigation during onboarding for new staff or roles.
• Performs competency testing and uses assessment tools to identify skill gaps and prioritize educational needs.
