Job summary

RTX’s F135 Training Business Manager role supports the Training organization by planning, managing, and reporting on training programs. It oversees contracted services, training-related projects, and budgets tied to Field Sustainment and Support Training, using EVMS and IMS tools to ensure cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, or related field.
• 8+ years of program or project management experience.
• At least 4 years of EVMS experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Training Services projects funding and related initiatives.
• Oversee Materials Resource Planning (MRP) and BOM data for training hardware.
• Prepare Basis of Estimate (BOE) inputs and support SOW reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement in EVMS and IMS processes.
• Review financial data for accuracy and alignment with program performance.
• Deliver monthly business rhythm updates to EVMS, IMS and finance systems.
• Support proposal development with historical performance data and risk assessments.
• Participate in MPR, EAC, IBR and RFC audits to communicate issues and opportunities.
• Travel 10–20%.
