Job summary

The University at Buffalo is seeking a part-time Training Program Administrator in the Department of Biomedical Informatics. This role involves ensuring compliance with FERPA and HIPAA, maintaining residency schedules and contact sheets, and assisting with recruitment efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with preference for those holding a PhD. Proficiency in MEDHUB and experience in education are desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or two years of full-time experience in a clinical or administrative setting.
PhD and/or three years of higher education experience preferred.
Proficiency in MEDHUB is a plus.

Position Summary

The Department of Biomedical Informatics in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is looking for a part‑time Training Program Administrator. In this role, the Training Program Administrator will:

Responsibilities

Understand and comply with FERPA and HIPAA regulations, and office confidentiality expectations.
Update and maintain residency contact sheets and checklists.
Prepare and maintain residency rotation schedules and enter data into MedHub, along with all other data required in the MedHub system.
Use ADS to enter ACGME data.
Compliance monitoring and distribution of monthly reports, hours logged, etc. for residency to all faculty as applicable.
Assist the Program Director and Office Manager/TPA with residency/fellowship recruitment efforts, including but not limited to medical student promotional activities, oversight of Bioinformatics Interest Group meetings, and oversight of the University of Buffalo Department of Biomedical Informatics website and other media. Encourage completion of evaluations from fellows and faculty.
