Qualifications

  • Familiarity with FERPA and HIPAA regulations.
  • Ability to prepare residency schedules and manage associated data.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with FERPA and HIPAA regulations, and office confidentiality expectations.
  • Update and maintain residency contact sheets and checklists.
  • Prepare and maintain residency rotation schedules and enter data into MedHub, along with all other data required in the MedHub system.
  • Use AD to enter ACGME data.
  • Monitor compliance and distribute monthly reports and hours logged for residency to faculty.
  • Assist the Program Director and Office Manager/TPA with residency/fellowship recruitment, including bios and website/media oversight.

U260053 - Training Program Administrator - Biomedical Informatics

The Department of Biomedical Informatics in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is looking for a part‑time Training Program Administrator.

In this role, the Training Program Administrator will:

  • Understand and comply with FERPA and HIPAA regulations, and office confidentiality expectations.
  • Update and maintain residency contact sheets and checklists.
  • Prepare and maintain residency rotation schedules and enter data into MedHub, along with all other data required in the MedHub system.
  • Use AD to enter ACGME data.
  • Compliance monitoring and distribution of monthly reports, hours logged, et al. for residency to all faculty as applicable.
  • Assist the Program Director and Office Manager/TPA with residency / fellowship recruitment efforts, including but not limited to medical student promotional activities, oversight of Bioinformatics Interest Group meetings, and oversight of UB Department of Biomedical Informatics website and other media. Encourage completion of evaluations from fellows and faculty.
