Job summary

CETUSA is offering an internship/trainee opportunity on a beachfront property in South Carolina. Start date is February/March 2027, with a 6‑month training duration and 32–40 hours per week.

Compensation ranges from $3.25 to $14.00 per hour plus tips, and housing is provided at $200 per week plus a $15 shuttle; a $100 non-refundable deposit applies. 3 positions are available.

Qualifications

• Hospitality/restaurant management student or recent graduate within 12 months of graduation.
• Foreign degree or professional certificate with 1+ year hospitality/tourism experience outside the US, or 5+ years in the field.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of food service in an upscale hotel.
• Aid in upholding highest quality standards for the food and beverage operation.
• Understand menu content, changes, and promotions.
• Advance management skills and supervisory duties.
• Apply for Internship program if eligible (hospitality/restaurant management students or recent graduates within 12 months).
• Apply for Trainee program if foreign degree + 1+ year outside US or 5+ years in Hospitality/Tourism.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Must be friendly, outgoing, organized, self-reliant, efficient and have computer skills.

Position Description

• To apply for the Internship program, applicants must be hospitality or restaurant management undergraduate/graduate students OR a be recent graduates who begin program within 12 months of the graduation date
• To apply for a trainee program, applicants must have either a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and at least 1 year of prior related work experience in the Hospitality/Tourism Management field acquired outside the United States, OR 5+ years of experience in this field.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking skills)
