Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Training Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training for hourly manufacturing employees, with a primary focus on Welders, Tubers, Electricians, and Insulators. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, workforce development, technical training, skilled trades, or related field.
• Experience leading training programs within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of welding, tubing, electrical, insulation, or other industrial manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience developing training curricula, qualification standards, certification programs, and skills matrices.
• Ability to influence leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• * Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing operations, workforce development, technical training, skilled trades, or a related field.
• * Experience leading training programs within a manufacturing environment.
• * Working knowledge of welding, tubing, electrical, insulation, or other industrial manufacturing processes.
• * Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and project management skills.
• * Experience developing training curricula, qualification standards, certification programs, and skills matrices.
• * Ability to influence leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.
• * Due to the diverse population served by this role, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a mandatory qualification and is essential for effective communication

Hiring Salary Range

$85,200.00 - $127,800.00 USD Annual (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)This position includes a competitive benefits package.
