Job summary

STIHL Inc. is seeking a Training Manager to lead instructional programs for STIHL commercial teams, dealers, and partners. The role focuses on live instruction, coaching performance, and facilitating engaging learning experiences that connect products with brand values.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in training/ facilitation, with experience in product or systems training, and strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Location is Salt Lake City area with possible relocation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Business, or related field.
Professional training certifications (e.g., ATD Master Trainer, CPTM) strongly preferred.
5+ years in a training, facilitation, or coaching role in commercial, retail, or technical industries.
Experience training on products or systems with hands-on components.

Responsibilities

Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for STIHL commercial teams, dealers, and channel partners.
Deliver engaging, brand-aligned instruction on product knowledge, sales strategies, and customer engagement.
Partner with instructional designers to enhance existing training programs based on real-time learner feedback.
Coach field reps and trainers to elevate facilitation techniques and improve learning outcomes.
Assess learner performance and gather qualitative feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
Represent STIHL values and culture in every learning interaction - modeling professionalism, integrity, and a passion for craftsmanship.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
