Job summary

STIHL Inc. is seeking a Training Manager to lead live instruction, coaching, and facilitation across STIHL’s sales channels and product categories.

The ideal candidate will deliver high-impact training for commercial employees, dealers, and partners, connecting learners with STIHL’s legacy of innovation and quality. Based in the Salt Lake region or open to relocation, this role requires strong presentation skills, LMS familiarity, and the ability to travel up to 25% by air to support field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Business, or related field.
• Professional training certifications (e.g., ATD Master Trainer, CPTM) strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in a training, facilitation, or coaching role in commercial, retail, or technical industries.
• Experience training on products or systems with hands-on components.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for STIHL commercial teams, dealers, and channel partners.
• Deliver engaging, brand-aligned instruction on product knowledge, sales strategies, and customer engagement.
• Partner with instructional designers to enhance existing training programs based on real-time learner feedback.
• Coach field reps and trainers to elevate facilitation techniques and improve learning outcomes.
• Assess learner performance and gather qualitative feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
• Represent STIHL values and culture in every learning interaction — modeling professionalism, integrity, and a passion for craftsmanship.
