Job summary

STIHL is seeking an experienced training facilitator to lead in-person and virtual sessions for our commercial teams, dealers, and channel partners. You will deliver brand-aligned product knowledge, sales strategies, and customer engagement while partnering with instructional designers to enhance programs based on learner feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in training, facilitation, or coaching in commercial, retail, or technical industries.
• Experience training on products or systems with hands-on components.
• Strong facilitation and public speaking skills for technical and commercial audiences.
• Up to 25% travel by air.
• Familiarity with STIHL product categories or dealer networks.
• Live in or around Portland, OR or Seattle, WA, or be open to relocation.
• Professional training certifications strongly preferred (ATD Master Trainer, CPTM)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for STIHL commercial teams, dealers, and channel partners
• Deliver brand-aligned instruction on product knowledge, sales strategies, and customer engagement
• Partner with instructional designers to enhance existing training programs based on real-time learner feedback
• Coach field representatives and trainers to elevate facilitation techniques and improve learning outcomes
• Assess learner performance and gather qualitative feedback to identify improvement opportunities
• Represent STIHL values and culture in every learning interaction
• Perform all other assigned duties and responsibilities
