Job summary

STIHL is seeking an experienced Training Facilitator to deliver in-person and virtual instruction for its commercial teams, dealers, and channel partners. You will align content with STIHL brands, sales strategies, and customer engagement techniques, while partnering with instructional designers to refine programs based on real-time learner feedback.

The role requires 5+ years in training or coaching, hands-on product training experience, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Must have 5+ years in a training, facilitation, or coaching role in commercial, retail, or technical industries.
Experience training on products or systems with hands-on components.
Willingness to travel up to 25% by air.
Candidate must live in or around Southern California or be open to relocation.
Familiarity with STIHL product categories or dealer networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for STIHL commercial teams, dealers, and channel partners.
Deliver brand-aligned instruction on product knowledge, sales strategies, and customer engagement.
Collaborate with instructional designers to enhance training programs using learner feedback.
Coach field representatives to improve facilitation techniques and outcomes.
Assess learner performance and collect qualitative feedback to identify improvements.
Represent STIHL values and culture in every learning interaction.
Perform all other assigned duties.
