Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a Training Specialist to identify learning needs, develop training materials, and guide new trainers. The role involves delivering both technical and non-technical sessions to employees and partners, with onsite hours in Columbia, SC.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and several years of relevant training experience. You will manage projects, create assessments, and leverage blended learning techniques to support business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years of job-related experience including 2 years in training and 1 year in insurance.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide trainees and coordinate with area management.
• Familiarity with training technology and ability to develop materials for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead training projects from needs assessment to final product delivery that meets customer specs and due dates.
• Facilitate technical and non-technical training for employees, partners, and customers.
• Develop and update training materials and assessments; ensure alignment with business goals.
• Analyze training data from audits and surveys to improve delivery and outcomes.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management; train-the-trainer sessions as needed.
