San Bernardino County’s Performance Education & Resource Centers (PERC) seeks a Training Initiatives Project Coordinator Trainee to lead complex initiatives from concept to closeout. Formación

• Education: Bachelor's degree in public/business administration, behavioral/social science, accounting/finance or other relevant field.
• Experience: 18 months of full-time equivalent experience supporting management or professional level administrative services staff in areas related to project management OR event planning.
• Educational substitution: Four additional years of experience in project management, event planning, or related areas can substitute for the degree.
• Ideal candidate designs engaging, thoughtful, and well-structured events, while managing operational and analytical components.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate multiple PERC projects, create plans, milestones, timelines and status-tracking.
• Lead major events planning: venues, schedules, vendor coordination, logistics.
• Manage procurement tasks and contracts; track timelines and approvals.
• Facilitate planning meetings with teams, departments and partners.
• Support staff development and organizational learning initiatives.
• Prepare reports and admin materials for Board approval when needed.
