Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a federal construction management system. You will run virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, project managers, and contractors across multiple locations to ensure proficient use of the new system.

The role requires classroom facilitation, software training experience, and ability to support large-scale change initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Ability to travel extensively as required.
Experience delivering software application training or enterprise system training.

Responsibilities

Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
Conduct training in accordance with approved lesson plans, course materials, and instructional guidelines.
Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance during training activities.
Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement throughout training sessions.
Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers regarding course schedules and logistics.
Track attendance and course completion metrics.
Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery methods and materials.
Serve as a professional representative of the training team when interacting with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
