Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s new construction management system, in both virtual and in-person settings.

The role requires strong facilitation, software training delivery, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change across multiple locations. Domestic and international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant training experience.
• US citizen status is required.
• Willingness to travel 100% domestically and internationally.
• Strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently within a geographically dispersed team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Follow approved lesson plans, course materials, and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance during training.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers regarding schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
