Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a federal government client’s new construction management system. You will conduct virtual and in-person sessions for diverse groups including personnel, project managers, engineering staff, and external contractors.

The role requires strong classroom facilitation, software and business process training experience, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively (100%).
• Experience delivering software or enterprise training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training in virtual and classroom settings.
• Follow approved lesson plans and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance.
• Maintain classroom engagement and manage sessions effectively.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities.
• Coordinate with Training Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion.
• Collect feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Suggest improvements to training delivery and materials.
• Represent the training team professionally with government personnel and stakeholders.
• Communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization.
• Support change management during CMP deployments.
