Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s customized construction management system, across virtual and in-person settings. You will train personnel, project managers, engineering staff, and external contractors, ensuring they gain the knowledge to use the new system.

The role requires strong facilitation, software training experience, and the ability to support large-scale organizational changes across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 years of related experience required
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training per approved lesson plans and guidelines.
• Answer participant questions and provide functional guidance during training.
• Maintain classroom management and engage students throughout sessions.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Gather student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Suggest improvements to training methods and materials.
• Represent training team with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
