Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s customized construction management system. The role covers virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, project managers, engineers, construction staff, leadership and external contractors.

You will ensure participants gain the knowledge and skills to use the new system effectively across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years related training experience preferred.
• Domestic/international travel may be required; willingness to travel extensively.
• Strong classroom facilitation, software or enterprise system training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Follow approved lesson plans, course materials, and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements to training delivery materials.
