Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s new construction management system. This role covers virtual and in-person sessions for diverse staff, managers, and contractors, ensuring knowledge transfer and user adoption across multiple geographies.

The position requires strong facilitation, software training experience, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change while traveling up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. 3 years of related experience. Travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training in accordance with lesson plans and materials.
• Respond to participant questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers on course schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to training delivery and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team with Government personnel.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
