Job summary

Altec is seeking a Training Facilitator to lead on-the-job and classroom training for basic skills. The role involves assessing learner progress, updating content with SME input, and maintaining training records to support organizational priorities.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of facilitation experience or equivalent, excellent communication, and a proactive, collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Four year degree highly desired or equivalent directly applicable experience on a year for year basis; plus
• One to three years of classroom training facilitation experience, or
• One to three years of facilitating training sessions or RCI events at Altec

Responsibilities

• Facilitates both on-the-job training and classroom activities for basic skills.
• Assesses training effectiveness by observing skills or administering tests.
• Partners with subject matter experts/designers to modify or create training and reference materials.
• Ensures training materials are updated based on best practices and feedback.
• Maintains training records, runs reports, and schedules training activities.
• Interfaces with management to ensure training meets current business priorities.
• Gathers learner feedback and assesses performance to tailor training solutions.
• On an as needed basis, creates training content, curriculum, procedures and/or job aids.
• Works with Training Manager/HR Manager to engage new hires during training.
• Assists in gathering performance feedback for the Training/HR Manager
• Uses judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee concerns
