Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a federal government client’s new construction management system. You will conduct virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, managers, engineering staff, and external contractors to ensure proficient use of the new platform.

Strong classroom facilitation, live software training experience, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change across multiple locations are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience delivering software/application training is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel 100% as part of the role and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Follow approved lesson plans, materials, and guidelines.
• Address participant questions and provide practical guidance.
• Maintain classroom engagement and effective management.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with Training/Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Suggest improvements to training delivery and materials.
• Represent the training team professionally with Government clients and stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
