Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a federal government client’s construction management system implementation. The role includes virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, project managers, engineers, and contractors across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of training experience, strong presentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Teams, with 100% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 3+ years related experience, travel may be required.
• Experience delivering software or enterprise system training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and other virtual training platforms.
• Experience supporting Federal Government training programs.
• Experience training construction management, project management, engineering, or infrastructure business processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training per approved lesson plans and materials.
• Respond to participant questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain effective classroom management and engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements to training delivery and materials.
• Represent the training team with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively across organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
